The Effect of Global Warming and the Terrible 20 Facts about Our Future

Our earth will not last forever, while we rely on the earth to survive. We will all perish if the earth were destroyed by various causes. It sounds frightening, but we need to realize that the earth's resources are limited. The use of earth's resources recklessly, as now, could cause the destruction of human life ends.
The scientists speculate about the changes the composition of the earth, whether it's about global warming or mineral resource that has begun to degenerate. Let us observe how we are slowly but surely leading to the destruction made by our own hands.

So how are our future and the earth we live in? Here are the facts:

1. Global warming is an inevitable event that affects the climate conditions on earth. Devastating storms, tidal waves, tsunamis and famine due to drought will continue despite efforts to control pollution and environmental damage has been done. The Earth try to continue to exist with natural improvement, but humans will accept the result because the repairing process is very powerful and uncontrollable.

2. Small increase in the Earth's rotation due to imbalance of the contents of the earth is depleted, can affect us in many ways such as devastating floods that drowned everything or glaciers that disappeared forever. That could mean water cycle shortages, food and rampant disease and widespread starvation. Several species of animals and plants become extinct.

3. Changes in land use patterns, which are now more people living in big cities than in rural areas. Big-city slums and dirty waste of human and cause a seed of a new disease.

4. Oil production increased in 2008 and 2018 will reach its peak, and that means the beginning of the decline. This could trigger a recession in global energy, conflicts between countries vying for oil field and also a source of food. Oil is very important for every nation to continue its production activities, including agriculture and animal husbandry. Going forward, the depletion of oil content in the earth could affect the whole of human life on earth significantly.

5. The car has share of three quarters of all carbon gas emitted transportation. Since then, there will be more than one billion cars roaming the streets in 2030 and will grow to one billion more in 2050. This associated with a 75% increase in atmospheric CO2 over a year comes from burning fossil fuels (petroleum, natural gas and coal), while about 20% of CO2 that enter earth's atmosphere from fuel combustion in motor vehicle engines, the rest 80 % of CO2 emissions come from burning fossil fuels by electric power generating machinery.

6. Due to an increase in air temperature and the rising of CO2 levels, there will be a bit of water vapor in the air to form clouds. This means that there will be a little rain, and directly resulted in agricultural production. In 2020, there was a difficult period and suddenly the flood increased in all parts of the continent of Europe, because the melting of ice in the Arctic, while the earth's population will reach 7.7 billion people.

7. Since the first Earth Day in 1970 until the beginning of a new millennium, mankind has made an increase in emissions (exhaust gas) by 70%.

8. Earth's atmosphere now contains 40% more CO2 than at the beginning of the Industrial Revolution.

9. Result of burning fossil fuels currently adds nearly 6 billion tons of CO2 into Earth's atmosphere each year. Only half of these were absorbed by forests and oceans.

10. Rain forest covering 14% of the earth's surface. Now it is only about 6%. According to estimation by experts, remaining rainforests will be consumed in less than 40 years. 1 to 1.5 hectares of rainforest disappear every 1 second as the tragic consequences of development in industrialized countries and developing countries.

11. Almost half of all species of flora, fauna and micro-organisms would be destroyed or threatened with extinction in the next quarter century due to logging of rain forests.

12. Based on the estimation by experts, we are losing 137 species of plants, animals and insects every day because of rain-forest logging. It is equal to 50,000 species per year. Currently, 121 drugs sold worldwide come from plant drugs. Meanwhile, 25% of pharmaceutical companies in the West take the ingredients of the herb plants from rain forests, and less 1% of the trees and tropical plants have been tested by scientists.

13. The rampant deforestation currently accounts for 20% of global warming pollution caused by inhibition of the re-absorption of CO2.

14. Outbreaks of the disease continues to increase both range and numbers due to air pollution, water and soil increases, particularly in countries with low income.

15. In 2030 approximately 18% of the cluster of coral reefs will disappear due to climate change and the environment. In  2030, the world population will reach 8.3 billion.

16. In 2040, the sea in the Arctic will experience the first summer without ice.

17. Since the disappearance of glaciers and the long dry season occurs, the production of electricity from hydroelectric power will decrease.

18. Vast desert in the earth's surface temperature has increased. At the end of 2007, Australia lost 25% of food production because of this.

19. Levels of carbon monoxide (CO) in the Earth's atmosphere continued to increase.

20. The harmful effects of human activities can affect the global system in a negative way. War, for example, can destroy the earth in various ways; mass murder, starvation and disease development, the burning of fossil fuels on a large scale by the machines of war, including deforestation and taking rocks and soil for restoration of infrastructure damaged.

There is a question for all of us, whether our efforts to help our environment today can provide a meaningful and significant impact, or the irony of our other activities actually accelerate damage and destruction of the earth?
